How it works:

• Fill out and mail cds and forms to DHR

• DHR will place music for sale on website

• DHR will notify artist of music availability on website

• Artist lets people know thier music is available on DHR

• Once album(s) sell, DHR sends Artists money.

What we ask of the artists:

• Artist promote their music available on DHR

That's all we ask. If no one knows your music is there, noone buys it, and you get no money. So be sure to inform your fans that your music is available on the Dark Harvest Records Website. Link to your product on the DHR Store through links, banners, Myspace, Facebook, whatever..., just make sure you promote yourself heavily.

Payment:

Payment to artists will occur after all cd's are sold. We ask for only (5) five cds (4 sellable cds & 1 for administrative purposes) to start with, so selling this many shouldn't be too hard. Payment for artist consignments will be made through PayPal™ unless otherwise agreed upon. This will ensure immediate payment to you, the artist, after your music sells. If you prefer to be paid with a check, please note that checks will only be sent out if the amount is over $20 USD.

Digital payments will be made on a monthly basis. Sales of Digital Music will be split 50/50 between artist and Dark Harvest Records. Digital album prices will be based on a 99¢ (cent) per song final price. (Example: 5 songs = $4.95, 12 songs = $11.88). Digital music will be uploaded at 320 kbps at the highest quality available in mp3 format. All mp3s will be able to work on any mp3 player.
