Saving October signs to DHR

Dark Harvest Records announced today that they have signed Delaware based metalcore act Saving October to a two album deal.

HOUSTON, TX, July 23, 2011 — Dark Harvest Records announced today that they have signed Delaware based metalcore act Saving October to a two album deal. Saving October is known as an innovator in melodic metalcore and has shared the stage with acts such as We Came As Romans, Dr. Acula, It Prevails and many more. In January 2010, the band entered the recording studio at ” Project Unity Productions” Wilmington De. and recorded and released a 4 song EP titled “Cut Your Losses” to rave reviews. In December 2010, the band released its latest EP “Hail the Captain” and achieved a strong following along the east coast. Saving October is now at Kenneth Dixon Studios producing their debut album “Decades” for release on Dark Harvest Records. The band also has completed its first full length music video “Kourtney Luv” with Bad Apple Productions. The new video will debut on Hails and Horns Magazine’s website (www.HailsandHorns.com).

Signing Saving October is the latest step in a vicious attack upon the extreme metal industry by Dark Harvest Records. “Our goal for 2011 and 2012 is to identify acts with extreme potential and add them to our arsenal as we rise to the top of the metal label ranks.
